Breaking Barriers in Infrastructure with Topcon
In a crowded marketplace, Topcon Positioning GB, leading manufacturers of geopositioning solutions, tasked Tangerine with elevating the brand above competitors, raising awareness of its full workflow solutions among decision-makers in the infrastructure industry.
From industry insights and research there was a general feeling that this kind of technology could do more, but that uptake is difficult and slow. No competitors had ventured into this territory, providing the perfect stage for Topcon.
Securing a partnership with industry-leading organisation, the Institution of Civil Engineers, enabled us to survey 200 of its members to identify what is stopping the sector from adopting new technology and working practices that can enable better efficiency and productivity.
Collaborating with thought leaders working at the coalface of some of the biggest projects in the UK and for some of the largest contractors, we compiled a series of opinions on the topic to accompany the survey findings.
We produced a web-gated whitepaper for data-capture purposes that was launched with a VIP event. This was followed by an ICE-partnered lecture, a webinar with respected media title, New Civil Engineer, and social promotion across Topcon channels.
Downloads of the paper have produced a number of solid leads for the Topcon sales team to convert. These leads include major multinational contractors and the paper has been positively referenced by Chris Preston, President of CICES.
