Celebrating VE Day

The problem

Transport workers have often been the unsung heroes during the Covid-19 crisis but have continued to show enormous amounts of team spirit to help play their part in defeating Coronavirus. Team spirit is also synonymous with past war efforts, and with the WW2 VE Day celebration approaching, Stagecoach wanted to publicise the resolve shown by its team whilst saying thank you to those that served.

Our response

We issued a call out to depots across the country for the Stagecoach team to send in edits of them singing Vera Lynn’s ‘We’ll Meet Again’.

We were once again inundated with clips of the team singing everything from a line to the full song.

Our studio got to work and seamlessly stitched a selection of clips together before we posted this across social on Thursday evening, to showcase how the Stagecoach team had come together to both show resolve and say ‘thank you’ before the Friday evening singalong.
