Jewson has a 180 year history in supporting the communities around its 600 branches. In 2015, the builders’ merchant decided to take this to the next level, launching the Building Better Communities Campaign – a UK-wide competition to give away £100,000 to community building projects across the UK.
Tangerine devised a robust PR and digital campaign to drive votes from both builders, as well as the general public. The content of the campaign was hinged on a specially commissioned survey to explore attitudes to community in the UK, which made headlines in media and created a conversation point on social.
