Tangerine Events has excellent knowledge of event organisation, guest management and the media, holding events for the likes of United Utilities, George Foreman Grills and Pets at Home, putting us in an ideal position to offer a truly integrated solution.
It's simple: we develop unique, impactful events and ensure these are stress free for our clients and their guests.
Tangerine Events was formed in a direct response to years of attending unimaginative, uninspiring, poorly organised events.
We are especially proud of our patented 'Tangerine Guest Management' scheme, which takes the worries of the guest list completely off a client's hands and ensures each and every guest is handled professionally and individually from the first contact to the last.
Some recent events include:
United Utilities' annual Xmas Ball
300 leading North West opinion formers (MPs, Councilors, businesspeople etc.) High quality, black tie event with top quality entertainment, food, drink and company! Our Guest Management service is critical for this audience. We have done this event for the past two years.
Following the success of the above, United Utilities commissioned us for its Climate Change policy launch. For this event, we converted a dark purple (tired) theatre in St Helens into a woodland wonderland, complete with woodland sounds, smells and trees/moss etc, and helped attract 400 climate change opinion formers.
"Just a quick note to say that I was really pleased with the way everything went and I've had lots of really positive feedback, both internal and external from people who attended. Your attention to detail added greatly and really made the difference between it being a good event and a great event."
Kevin Meagher, Public Affairs Manager, United Utilities
"Tangerine PR continually impresses me with the quality and end-to-end delivery of its event management services. Initial project briefs are interpreted exceptionally well and the creative concepts they present back hit the objectives in the briefs and really bring them to life. Good project and account management then gives you the confidence that events will be organised professionally, on budget and with a minimum of fuss. Tangerine PR's Guest Management service also maximises attendance at events and their management on the night ensures that events run smoothly and successfully. The post-event report they provide then gives you the opportunity to assess what worked well. I'd be happy to recommend Tangerine PR's event management services."

North West Regional Assembly - Annual Conference July 2007
We have just concluded this event for the first time. Held in Keswick, Cumbria, this event included an evening dinner for 200 people, followed by a full day conference for 300+. Tangerine was the first event management company the Assembly has ever used and the feedback is extremely positive. The client is delighted and the feedback forms – which are obviously still being collated – are showing the best response the client has ever had, with one delegate claiming it is the best conference he has ever attended!
"Tangerine PR has worked seamlessly with my own team to organise a highly successful conference for more than 300 high level delegates. The real difference between Tangerine and my experience of other agencies is that they have immersed themselves completely in our organisational culture and in so doing created a unique conference in total sympathy to our specific needs, rather than an 'off the peg' event solution so often provided by others."
Simon Crawshaw, Head of Communication and External Affairs, NWRA
"On behalf of everyone at the NWRA may I thank you for your contribution to the success of the event. I think the input from Tangerine ensured the event was by far and away the most successful we have ever staged. I thought that you and your staff worked incredibly hard, both in preparing the Conference and again over the course of the two days. I also think the caliber of the panel members drawn from the wide variety of sectors resulted in a series of highly interesting and informative exchanges.
It is, without doubt, the quickest and most positive feedback we have ever received following an annual conference. Whilst Keswick and the Lake District lends itself to a stunning environment in which to host such an event, it is nevertheless the structure, the content and participants which determine its validity and success."
Phil Robinson, Chief Executive, NWRA
Bolton TIC Launch
Tangerine was commissioned by Bolton TIC (recommended by UU – sponsor of the centre) to launch its revolutionary Technical Innovation Centre. Princess Anne had already agreed to launch the centre and it was Tangerine’s job to ensure the event went well and was well attended. Again, Tangerine’s creativity and attention to detail was put to good use – especially with the extra security required for a Royal – and our Guest Management service ensured the 350 attendees were security cleared and there on time!
"This was a particularly important event; not least in that the centre attracted significant attention and had interest from multiple stakeholders locally, regionally and nationally. It was also opened by the Princess Royal and therefore the attention to detail and security considerations were paramount. The event also involved very careful co-ordination of hundreds of guests and many young people and children and had to be ‘spot on’ in terms of guest management, timing, catering, security and presentation.
The Tangerine PR team worked tirelessly to achieve this against considerable obstacles and inevitable last minute changes, demand etc. Their involvement was absolutely essential and the event was a great success."Nick Taylor, Director of Communications, United Utilities

Annual festival, organised by Tangerine on behalf of North West Equality & Diversity Group. This year, Tangerine organised six events for the festival, and advised on a further 23
"It's been an unusual and sometimes difficult brief for Tangerine PR so we’re really pleased with how they’ve handled it. They've worked closely with the core team, but also managed to positively engage and enthuse a wide range of key stakeholders. The festival has been extremely effective and has delivered results. Tangerine has kept us continually focused on the agreed programme, which has ensured it has been delivered 110 per cent"

Press Events:
George Foreman, British Heart Foundation Launch - event in Trafalgar Square, attended by 200 people, including passers-by, and 40 members of the media
Russell Hobbs, 50 years of the Electric Kettle – media event in central London, attended by 100 members of the media. Full catwalk with fashion and kettles through the ages!
Energetic, committed and creative are three words which can be used to describe the team at Tangerine PR. Working with us on both the George Foreman and Russell Hobbs brands, Tangerine PR has delivered great results and has been relentless in their pursuit of top quality. I have been particularly impressed that the team which greets you at the initial pitch, remains the same team throughout the campaign, something which rarely happens nowadays.
