Tangerine cleans up with Halo

Following its successful launch of heavy duty hand wipe brand, Grime Boss, in 2012, the Tangerine PR consumer team has been appointed by Nice-Pak international to increase awareness of its hygiene and beauty wipe brand, Halo.

The team will be responsible for developing a rolling PR strategy including ongoing national consumer press office tactics, management of Halo’s social media presence as well as campaign spikes designed to increase buzz and talkability around the brand.

As part of the new contract, Tangerine has also brokered a brand ambassador deal with Binky Felstead from the popular E4 show Made in Chelsea.

Ian Anderson, marketing director at Nice-Pak International, said: “Tangerine has impressed us over the last year with its creativity, tenacity and strategic approach; so when we took the decision to focus on raising the awareness of Halo, it made complete sense to bring the team in to help us develop a communications strategy around the brand.”

Speaking about the win, Mary Harding, consumer MD at Tangerine PR, said: “Having worked with Nice-Pak International over the last twelve months, launching its Grime Boss brand, the team has established a successful partnership.

“There is real opportunity for Halo to raise awareness of its unique and exciting brand to women’s media. Our communications strategy aims to target these groups in a fun and engaging way to create real standout and in turn, raise awareness of the brand, helping to generate sales.”

The Halo range is currently stocked within Tesco, Superdrug, Sainsbury’s, Boots and Spar.
