We Toast Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer Billing

Tangerine is celebrating after being recognised in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer List for the second year running.

The List, compiled annually by the National Apprenticeship Service and sponsored by City & Guilds, recognises excellence in businesses that employ apprentices, and showcases the breadth of employers which offer apprenticeships. The companies making up this year’s Top 100 were revealed at the National Apprenticeship Awards, which took place in London.

Tangerine was honoured with a place in the Top 100 for its role in creating The Juice Academy, the UK’s first and most prolific industry-led social media apprenticeship. The scheme was developed to train future digital communications professionals through work placements with employers, including JW Lees, Pets at Home, Footy Accumulators and Greater Manchester Police as well as leading creative and digital agencies.

Commenting on the publication of the List, Skills Minister, Nick Boles, said: “This year’s Top 100 was hugely competitive with even more leading employers developing world class apprenticeship programmes that deliver the skills Britain needs.

“All of the Top 100 employers know that apprenticeships and traineeships don’t only provide life changing opportunities and routes into work for young people, but they also deliver real results for business. This is why we are committed to three million apprenticeships by 2020.”
