Tangerine turns 10!
To mark Tangerine’s 10th birthday, the agency called on famous poet, Tony ‘Longfella’ Walsh to create a unique poem to capture the essence of why Tangerine PR has become so successful over the last decade.
Tony, who is the regular poet-in-residence at Glastonbury, had his words set to a creative animation designed by the agency’s in-house designer, Paul Brady.
Sandy Lindsay, group MD for Tangerine PR, said: "To be honest, I can’t believe 10 years have passed – it feels nothing like that. But we have genuinely had a blast and to celebrate, we commissioned one of the UK’s leading performance poets to write a poem of celebration.
“I saw Tony perform his ‘Rain Dance’ – a 15 minute long love poem to Manchester – a couple of years ago and I’d always wanted to do something with him so I asked if he’d do our Tangerine poem and he said yes. Then Paul put his words to pictures and this is the result.
“2012 is not only our anniversary year but also shaping up to be by far our best year to date, so here’s to another 10 years!”
