Tangerine wins another loyal customer
Following a three-way competitive pitch, Tangerine PR’s B2B team has been appointed by Plastic Card Services Limited (PCS), the UK’s leading provider of plastic cards and associated services, to deliver a PR campaign targeting national, trade and business media.
Using its proven strategic approach to B2B PR, the team is creating a campaign to communicate the full breadth of PCS’ product offer and support services to sectors including retail, leisure and automotive industries, and ultimately raise the profile of the company to reflect its current market leading position.
Rob Nicholls, managing director at PCS said: “PCS is a major player in the plastic card industry, so we want to build a profile that truly mirrors this position. From the outset, we were impressed by Tangerine’s strategic, yet creative approach to PR, and the team’s understanding of our long-term ambitions and objectives. We look forward to working with them to bring our vision and ideas to life.”
“A key objective for PCS is to raise awareness of its products and services across a wide range of sectors and customer groups, so our experience of working with an array of vertical media and markets will prove invaluable,” commented Sam Gregory, MD of B2B at Tangerine. “This knowledge and experience, coupled with our targeted and creative approach, means we’re confident of developing a PR campaign that will make a real difference for PCS in growing its highly successful business even further.”
PCS, which is headquartered in Macclesfield, produces over 50 million plastic cards each year for major retailers and FTSE 100 companies, including Next, Ikea and Ford. Its product range includes loyalty cards, hotel key cards, key fob solutions and new generation smart cards.
