Tangerine PR bags Holiday Inn Express Manchester

Zinnia Hotel Group has appointed award-winning PR Consultancy, Tangerine PR to deliver national, regional and trade awareness for Holiday Inn Express on Oxford Road in Manchester.

Tangerine’s Consumer PR team – which has strong leisure credentials – will run a national, regional and trade press office, as well as organise a series of stunts and events to raise the profile and maximise awareness of the leading hotel brand.

The hotel, which is situated in an ideal location for city centre attractions, opened in July 2010 and has 147 rooms. With a four out of five rating on Trip Advisor, rooms are priced from £59 a night and include breakfast. There is also a meeting room which can hold up to 20 people that can be hired out for theatre style functions and small gatherings.

Hotel manager, Jonathan Smith, commented: “We were looking for a PR agency that was honest in its approach, demonstrated that it had experience in the sector and could come up with creative ideas to raise the profile of our great hotel.

“Tangerine offered this and more. There was an instant chemistry with the team and they were so passionate about what they could bring to the table, we were keen to work with them.”

Consumer account director, Marie Carter, commented: “Holiday Inn is a famous brand and we are proud to have been given the opportunity to create awareness of this hotel, especially with Manchester being such a hive of social activity and attracting scores of visitors.

“The team at Tangerine has previously worked with the likes of Travelodge, Golden Tulip and Best Western so we have the expertise, making us the ideal partner for Holiday Inn Express Oxford Road.”
